About Ed Wiesner

Ed Wiesner loves building and remodeling homes. He joined a homebuilding company in his early 20’s and that’s when he discovered a lifelong passion for building homes that reflect the taste, style and dreams of the owners. He founded Wiesner Homes in 2000 to do both custom homebuilding and remodeling. Wiesner Homes builds four to six custom homes per year and oversees a number of remodeling projects.

Ed and his talented team of craftsman build much more than houses. They build a long term relationship with every homeowner by forming a close partnership to bring the homeowner’s vision to reality. Many of Wiesner Homes remodeling customers are repeat customers and word-of-mouth referrals are Wiesner’s largest source of new business. Ed considers his customers his friends and the feeling is mutual.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University. Ed’s professional affiliations include the National Association of Homebuilders, Texas Association of Builders, Greater Houston Builders Association and the Better Business Bureau. As a member of NAHB, he holds the Graduate Master Builder (GMB) and Certified Green Professional (CGP) designations. Ed is a Former Chairman and a Trustee for the Professional Builder’s Council Club #37, a mastermind group of homebuilders around the country who meet twice annually to share ideas on how to improve and grow their business. He resides in Katy, Texas with his wife and two children.

We build our homes and our company on the same principles: quality, loyalty, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction. Our specialty is large lot and unique settings. We match our love of fine homes with our customer’s desire for a one of a kind residence.
